It can feel like a big step to come for counselling.  Perhaps you have suffered in silence for many years, or perhaps something difficult has happened in your life recently.  Talking to someone who is not directly involved is freeing and unburdening.  It can be life-changing.

There are many reasons why people come to work with me.  Some recent examples include:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • low self-esteem

  • childhood abuse

  • bereavement

  • self-harm

  • job loss

  • bullying

  • addiction, post-rehab

  • divorce

  • suicidal feelings

  • wanting to stop repeating the same unhealthy patterns.

I am currently not taking on any new clients.

I have returned to working face-to-face from home in Stonesfield.  If you prefer, I continue to offer Zoom and telephone counselling too.  NB  I will be moving in the next couple of months to Ducklington, near Witney.  I will publish the moving date as soon as I know.

The most effective aspect of therapy is the relationship that you have with your counsellor.  It is important to choose a counsellor that feels like someone you want to work with.  Please phone or email me to find out more about the way that I work, or just to see if I seem like the right counsellor for you.  Click on Contact a the top of this page for information on how to get in touch.
